Qualifications for Posts of Surveyors.

Assistant Land Surveyor, 23 to 28 years of
age and unmarried. He must have a thorough knowledge of survey- -ing with Theodolite and Level, be a neat draughtsman, and quick at figures; be capable of carrying out extensive surveys over rough hilly country, and intricate surveys of City Lots
covering large areas of steep hillside land; and be proficient in checking and closing traverses by co-ordinates preparing plans and sections and computing areas.
Note:- If the Surveyor is an Asiatic he must be able to speak and write English. Salary $1,320 per
annum and $360 travelling allowance per annum.
No Quarters or other allowance than the above.
